Dee Blake
Technical Director
Dee joined Modernista! in 2001 as a Senior Web Developer and has since advanced to the Technical Director role. He worked as a web developer at Agency.com on Deutsche Bank, SmithKlein Beecham and Reuters. Before entering the white collar world, Dee spent many years in smoked-filled clubs and gloomy rehearsal studios as a punk rock/rock-n-roll guitarist. The times, have indeed, changed.
Dee is a big fan of author Tim Ferriss’ blog. He is also a regular supporter of the NRDC, and is highly entertained by the shenanigans of Harland Williams.

Eco-pods
In 2007, Filene’s Basement, apparently a Boston tourist attraction, closed its doors. A stalled $700 million redevelopment project has left a rather depressing hole in the ground, with not much being done to restore the building or the surrounding area.

Change a life for 25 bucks
Emilio Acosta Farro of Peru, Aditza Maria Orozco of Nicaragua, Josephine Navalta of the Philippines and Ben Kiwanuka’s Group of Uganda. How do I know these people? I don’t. But I loaned them each $25 and they are all paying me back.
